Wet Sandals at the Jordan
Joshua 3–4 records Israel crossing the Jordan while the river was overflowing its banks. Before the waters were cut off, the priests carrying the Ark of the Covenant had to reach the river and step into its edge. Slowing down and looking carefully at the details makes this familiar account feel remarkably real.

Adam and Methuselah Were Alive at the Same Time
According to the ages recorded in Genesis 5, Methuselah was already 243 years old when Adam died. That surprising overlap connects Adam's generation much more closely to Noah's than we might imagine.

There are a lot of opinions about the Bible.
We're interested in what the Bible actually says.
That means starting with Scripture, reading the surrounding context, following related passages, examining the historical setting, and using archaeology, chronology, language, and other historical sources when they help us understand what we're reading.
And when Scripture doesn't tell us something, we'll say that too.
We begin with the conviction that Scripture is true.
Our goal is to understand it accurately, follow the context carefully, and explain it plainly.

Things That Make You Stop and Think
Noah's grandfather could have heard about Eden directly from Adam.
Methuselah was alive while Adam was still living.
Methuselah later became Noah's grandfather.
Scripture never tells us they sat together and talked — but the biblical timeline shows something fascinating:
The earliest generations of Genesis were far closer together than most of us imagine.

What Are You Wrestling With?
Angry all the time and don't know why?
Read something in the Bible that just doesn't sit right with you? Wondering why God allowed something to happen?
Confused by a verse you've read twenty times and still don't understand?
Maybe you've got a question about Jesus, heaven, hell, suffering, the end times, forgiveness, anxiety, prayer — or something you're almost afraid to ask out loud.
Ask it.
You don't have to know the right words. You don't have to be a Bible scholar. And you don't have to pretend you understand something when you don't.
Tell us what you're thinking, what you're struggling with, or what you've always wondered about. Your question might become the next thing we investigate.
Every question is confidential. Your name and email are never shared or published — only the question itself.
